The Tenth Nottingham Dragons Den Panel is just ‘Angels’
The High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire Judy Naaké is joining forces with 5 other female business leaders who will award successful enterprise ideas a grant of up to £3000.
This is the tenth Dragons Den style event organised by Nottinghamshire Community Foundation and will be hosted at the new Technology Entrepreneurship Centre (TEC) at Nottingham University’s Innovation Park.
We are inviting applications from budding entrepreneurs of all genders to apply for a grant to support their business development.
The Angel Panel includes:
- Beverley Parr, partner of B & J Parr Ltd
- Sue Allsopp, founder of Equator design Nottingham
- Karen Cox, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Nottingham University
- Nicky Weston DL, the Vice Chair of Nottinghamshire Community Foundation
- Melanie Currie, Deputy Dean Nottingham Trent University Business School
- Judy Naaké, High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire and founder of the St Tropez tanning company
Judy Naaké , The High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, commenting on the Angel’s den said:
“I am very keen to support new entrepreneurs as I know how hard it is to build a business.
I believe the advice and support from this panel of successful women will offer the applicants
an incredible boost to their start up, as well as a memorable day in the den”
To be considered for a grant, applicants need to be a resident of Nottingham city or county, be able to submit a realistic business plan and have a great enterprise idea.
