Description: This fund was set up by the Wheatcroft Family who are a successful local family with interests in horticulture and social welfare.
It aims to support projects in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County, who are in need of grant funding to support vulnerable people, young people, the elderly and those with mental health conditions.

Criteria
The Wheatcroft fund is designed to support local Charities, CIO’s and CIC’s with an income below £500,000 and whose registered office is in Nottinghamshire.  Groups must demonstrate need and be able to comply with the conditions for receiving a grant as detailed in the application form.

Exclusions

  • Groups with income of more than £500,000
  • Activities promoting party political activity
  • Individual sponsorship
  • Activities generating private profit
  • Activities which evangelise or proselytise religious beliefs
  • Projects that only work with one faith

 

Amounts available
Grants of £2,000 to £10,000 are available for individual groups.
All grants awarded are for the duration of one year.
