Make a Donation
Make a difference – make a donation!
We can guarantee that all donations are used to improve the quality of people's lives in Nottinghamshire, now and in the future. You can give on an ad-hoc basis or set up a regular donation; but whatever the size, a few pounds or a considerable sum of money it will make a difference. Donate Now
How it works
There are 3 stages:
- Who would you like to support
- Where would you like your donation to make a difference
- How much would you like to give?
For ease we have grouped issues as themes focusing on different needs:
- Children and Young People: Helping children and young people to be safe, healthy, providing them with a positive outlook for the future and helping them to make a positive contribution.
- Safer and Stronger Communities: Helping to reduce crime, build respect in communities through activities and projects, clean up local areas and generally improve quality of life and empower local people to make a difference.
- Health and wellbeing: Improve the health of individuals and support people with long term illness and disabilities.
- Older People: Support older people through local activities, combat isolation and fear and link them into local life.
- Increasing opportunities: Provide training opportunities for individuals and grass roots groups to give them greater hope and aspirations for the future. Increase self esteem and help people to make their activities sustainable.
- Covering Core Costs: The biggest issue for all community groups is covering their core costs/overheads. All community and voluntary groups struggle because they are not-for-profit groups even though they provide an invaluable service to our local communities. We should all do whatever we can to ensure their work continues.
- General Donation: A donation to support the on-going work of Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, we too are a not-for-profit, independent charity.
