Description: Nottinghamshire Community Foundation have organised another Angels Den event. If you have a business idea and want to apply for a small grant to help you on the road to success, then please apply.
Applicants are given the opportunity to pitch to a panel of successful local business leaders who decide on which businesses will receive a grant of up to £3,000.

Calling all budding entrepreneurs to our 'Angels Den' event

 

Nottinghamshire Community Foundation are inviting applications from budding entrepreneurs in Nottinghamshire looking for a small grant to support their business development in an Angels Den event.

 

Local ‘Business Angels’ are looking to award successful enterprise ideas a grant of up to £3,000, plus support, mentoring and potential investment, to help their business development.

 

The ‘Business Angels’ include:

  • Peter Gadsby, Ark Capital
  • Bev Parr, B & J Parr Limited
  • Nadeem Raza, Microlise
  • Krisi Smith, Co-Founder & Owner of Bird & Blend Tea Co.
  • Oliver Wheatcroft, Braemore Group

 

To be considered for a grant applicants need to

  • be resident in Nottinghamshire
  • be able to submit a realistic business plan
  • have a great enterprise idea

Completed templates need to be emailed to alex@nottscf.org.uk by 4.00pm on 22nd January 2024.

 

Short listed applicants will be invited to pitch their ideas to the panel of Business Angels at an event on the afternoon of 6th February 2024 at Ryley Wealth Management , The Arc, NG2 Business Park, Enterprise Way, Nottingham NG2 1EN.

 

Successful applicants will be asked to ‘pay it back’ should their enterprise do so well to achieve a £100,000 turnover they would be required to donate 2% (£2,000) back to the Community Foundation to re-allocate to another great project.
